Hi, my name is János Meggyesi

I am an electrical engineer, software developer and robotics enthusiast from Hungary.

When I was a kid, I was always curious about how machines, especially robots work. So I disassembled most of my toys or our old radios. I understood it a little later. Now I am developing industrial robots.

I was developing a validation software to check movement dynamics of mobile robots. My main task was investigating and implementing linear and nonlinear transformations including neural networks.

In 2022, I participated in RobonAUT. This is the robotics competition of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where teams of students have to develop self-driving cars from RC cars. My team, Schrödinger’s Car, took 4th place among juniors.

During the technician studies I participated in the National Vocational Study Competition in the field of mechatronics, where I took 2nd place.
